DAHA

4040 – DES ARAB ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION (DAHA)

The Des Arab Arabian Horse Association was organized in Boise, Idaho in 1967, and chartered in 1968. Des Arab seeks to bring together people in Idaho who are interested in the Arabian horse, and to encourage active participation for the betterment of the breed. In addition, we strive to provide an opportunity for the exchange of views on equitation and use of the breed, and to encourage promotion of horse shows, clinics, parades, trail rides, youth activities, and to demonstrate the versatility of the Arabian horse.

Our membership is small but diverse, with members using their Arabians for trail riding, show, endurance, pleasure, and ranch work. We welcome anyone with a love for the Arabian breed who would like to be a part of a local community of enthusiasts. Please see our Membership page for an application, and join us today!

AiM

4230 – ARABIANS IN MOTION (AiM)

Arabians in Motion is the Premiere Arabian Sport Horse Association in the Pacific Northwest. It was founded by some dedicated members who realized the value of the Arabian Horse in the sporting disciplines. Over the years, the membership has grown, the goals have expanded, and the fun has escalated.

The membership is very supportive of one another, and from that has grown a recognized spring show with a full sport horse complement, as well as the original Arabians In Motion Sport Horse Classic in the late summer/early fall, that has been married to the Region IV Sport Horse Championship Show.

Members are encouraged to volunteer, fund raise, show their horses, and in general to share their individual ideas, goals and accomplishments. The Arabians In Motion Club is “home” to members from as far south as the Oregon/California border, to Illinois to the east, and Washington to the north. The club truly “fits” those who want to advance their Arabian Sport Horse endeavors.
